. Q. What is Hypnosis and how does it work? A.Hypnosis comes from the Greek word “Hypno” for sleep;however, you’re not really asleep in the normal sense. Under the guidance of a professional hypnotist your mind can be guided into a heightened state of suggestibility that will allow you to accept the powerful new suggestions for change that you want. Fact: You can never hypnotize anyone to do anything they don’t want to do (in spite of what they portray in movies).
Q. Where does it happen? A. We guide you into hypnosis while you are relaxing in a big comfortable recliner in our office. It’s quite pleasant and enjoyable. The lights are on and you’re completely safe and relaxed.
Q. Am I in a coma state? No! actually, it’s just the opposite! Here’s a fact most people aren’t aware of. While you are in a state of hypnosis you are actually aware of every sound and every word spoken (you just don’t really care because your so relaxed). No one ever controls you, and you can emerge or wake up from hypnosis anytime you want. You’re always free.
Q. Is Hypnosis approved by the AMA? A. Yes, indeed it is. The American Medical Association as well as the British Medical Association sanctioned hypnosis and began using it over fifty years ago. Each day it is used by professional therapists, doctors, and dentists around the world.
Q. How soon can I expect results? A. Some changes are immediate, and some are more gradual. And the nice thing is the results of your hypnosis or coaching sessions will continue to grow stronger as you actively begin using your new tools and strategies each day.
Q.Can I get a weekend or evening appointment if I need one? A. Yes, you usually can. If your work schedule makes it difficult to come in during regular business hours, we understand.
If you have been struggling with tobacco, feeling embarrassed about your weight, a lack of motivation or focus, and other personal challenges, and don’t be shy. I’ve had experience worked with all types of issues so feel free to call me. and I’m delighted to answer your questions. When we want to make a change in our life we have to start somewhere and so often it’s by asking questions.
Our number is 214-549-7487. I always do my best to always answer the phone myself because of course my receptionists don’t have the back gound required to accurately answer your personal questions. If I’m in session please leave me your number (and speak slowly please).
I look forward to talking with you.
